Sometimes I conceive of a quilt based on my memories and remembered feelings of a place. Inspired by the architectural splendor of Venice, a labyrinth of stone and water, this composition draws from the visual vocabulary of Venetian design, mirroring the intersections of arches, mosaics, and geometric patterns. At its core, Oh Venice is about the act of looking, inviting the viewer to get lost in its complex layers.
