The arabesque form of artistic decoration consisting of rhythmic, interlaced elements speaks to my inner Patternista. These ornamental patterns often consist of a single design which can be 'tiled' or seamlessly repeated many times. My arches were inspired by a multitude of mosaic alcoves along an outdoor corridor during a 2016 visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman.
